Glastonbury is less a music festival than a temporary civilization - a quarter-million people, dozens of stages ranging from the main Pyramid down to tiny healing-field yurts, and a farm that somehow absorbs and recovers from it all year after year. Every few years the farm gets a full 'fallow year' off to rest and rebuild, which is exactly what's happening in 2026 - the next edition returns in June 2027.
